Richard Hill
Richard Hill, Tuscarora of the Beaver Clan, is a writer, curator, artist and educator. He has taught at SUNY Buffalo, McMaster University, Six Nations Polytechnic and FNTI. He helped to established the Indigenous Knowledge Center as a community-based research/cultural sharing initiative at Six NationsPolytechnic. More recently, Hill has co-curated an exhibition on the Mohawk Institute residential school and co-edited a book on the history of that school. He holds an honorary Doctorate of Law from McMaster University and University of Guelph. He is a honorary officer in the Order of Canada. He is vice-president of the Niagara Academy on Indigenous Relations.
