Intensive Delivery Mode

The Intensive Mode follows a 4-week delivery model totaling 45 required course hours.

Week 1: Pre-Intensive Week (9 hours)
Learners are required to be present for virtual evening sessions consisting of a blend of independent learning and live & on-camera sessions-typically Tuesday and Wednesday, 6–9 p.m. via Zoom. These sessions include a course overview, introduction of the teaching team and confirmation of the agenda for the course. Learners will also begin course learning activities and work on or complete an assignment. There may be additional course work and preparation beyond the required hours.

Week 2: LIVE-Intensive Week (30 hours)
This is the intensive course period. Learners engage in daily content delivery either in-person at Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory or virtually- live and on-camera- via Zoom.  Each day runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.

Week 3: Post-Intensive Week (6 hours)
This week includes one live, on-camera 3-hour evening Zoom session (6–9 p.m.) for course wrap-up with the instructor and other learners. Completion of course assignments is a key expectation. Learners may also book office hours with the instructor, Cultural Advisor, or Student Success Facilitator as needed.

Week 4: Completion Week
Here learners ensure they complete and submit all remaining assignments through the course site in Brightspace.
