First Nations Technical Institute
Specializing in Applying Indigenous Knowledge to Post-Secondary Learning Experiences
First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI) is a First Nation owned and governed educational institute specializing in applying Indigenous knowledge to both formal and informal learning experiences. Many of our programs and services are delivered at locations across Ontario.
For more than 30 years, FNTI has played an essential role in making post-secondary education relevant for Indigenous students and communities. We work closely with our partners to build unique, cutting-edge Indigenous learning experiences and environments. Our post-secondary programs are offered in partnership with colleges and universities and are recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
FNTI is accredited by the World Indigenous Nations Higher Education Consortium (WINHEC), and is a member of the Ontario Aboriginal Institutes Consortium and Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).
OUR VISION Healthy, prosperous, and vibrant learners and communities through transformative learning experiences built on a foundation of Indigenous knowledge.
